Instead, he lets others interpret his abstract art and even name pieces for him, thus attaching their own personal reality to it. In fact, he encourages this process with owners of his work.
Allan paints his contemporary abstract paintings in oil and acrylic, using brushes, pallet knives, airbrush and even fingers. Typically, he paints on canvas and sheet metal. As his experimenting continues, all this can change.
